I don't think there's a thread for this...
It just occurred to me when watching Sweeney Todd...do you think Joss (being a Sondheim fan) got "A Hole in the World" from these lyrics:
There's a hole in the world like a great black pit
And the vermin of the world inhabit it
And it's morals aren't worth what a pig could spit
And it goes by the name of London...
Obviously without the london bit :)
