The current debacle has me winding my Tumblr account, currently looking for new homes for posts in various media. I've come across several text pieces that I wrote before I knew about BuffyForums, on topics dealing from the value of the soul to the sex lives of the Fanged Four to 18th-century costuming; some of them aren't half bad, but I'm not sure how many people here might have already seen them on Tumblr. Is anyone interested in posts from the vault, or should I need to stick to only new posts?

I'm not on tumbler so it would all be new to me.

Oh, hell yes! Please yes! I might have answered some on tumblr but I would love to rethink anyway!

Yes, I am interested in reading them. I‘ve never understood tumblr and don’t read there.

Of course you should post them here! I'd love to read them. I am on Tumblr, but it's another social media site I have no actual idea how to use.

I hope you don't mind me asking a question, because I don't understand the controversy. I understand that tumblr are removing sexualised visual content, which is fine by me, so why is it so controversial? I've obviously missed something important in this  (not unusual for me)

I think the problem is, that they are using algorithms to flag the content and those algorithms keep making mistakes. Also, people feel censored.

Here are some examples, of posts that have been flagged:

Removing adult content would be tolerable, if annoying for people in fandoms like Penny Dreadful and Game of Thrones, but the algorithms are so bad that they’re flagging probably a third of all my visual, safe-for-work posts. One was a gifset of a guy handling a flower. The only non-botanical body part in the entire set was a hand. So I’m miffed and planning to shut my Tumblr down as soon as I can move the content elsewhere.

Understand how that would be annoying. I only hope they get the algorithms fixed and people can continue posting.
