You've probably all seen the Jo Chen cover, of Naked!Faith burning her dress, but there is a wonderful looking variant for it as well that's been released. I *think* it's Jeanty, but it might not be.

That is adorable, and obviously an homage to "The Avengers" with Faith as a stake-equipped Emma Peel and Giles looking just hysterical with a bowler on as John Steed.

I'm not sure what this cover is supposed to represent, but it looks interesting.
It looks like Giles will play a large role in stopping Lady G after all.
I don't get why Faith and Giles are smiling though, considering what Faith's job is supposed to be.

They're smiling because Mr. Steed and Mrs. Peel always smile :)

Not what I expected at all, especially given the serious nature of the Jo Chen cover. Very interesting, I'm not really a fan of the variant but it is nice to see it finally!

Funny! Though, what's next? Andrew and Buffy as Sapphire and Steel?

i actually like the british '60s flick-looking cover (it would be even funnier if it were bond), but yeah, the jo chen is better. sort of strangely colored-in picture though. it's not comic-style or colored-pencil, but sort of an oily not-quite-well-drawn style. oil crayons?
the outfit is totally '60s espionage femme fatale.
i'm pretty sure this is just a brit pop-culture humor joke cover rather than serious spoilage for the comic.

I hope so. I don't like the idea of Giles getting his way in this.
I was hoping that it would turn into a Scooby-Faith operation. Faith's been exiled long enough.

OOOooo... LOVE the new Jeanty cover!! I may have to have one of those this time as well! I prefer Chen but ever since meeting Georges I can't help but want to have one of his too!! Plus - this one is to DIE for!!
I like the Faith/Giles interaction better than the Scoobies/Buffy interaction.
Giles seems to lend more credence to her role as Slayer. Buffy and the Scoobs would just "shoot her down" with insults etc. She would fall back into the category of "inept". But with Giles it seems he really wants her to succeed this time. Wants her to know he believes in her.

The Giles/Faith scenes do rock, great to see the two of them spend sometime together because we didn't get it a lot on the show.
Though I don't think the Scoobies would shoot her down with insults. None of the scoobies but Buffy and Dawn even brought up Faith's past in season seven, Buffy did it out of anger when everyone turned on her, and Dawn acted just as mean to Riley for bailing on her when she began to like him :p Buffy was shot down by Giles saying "that is enough!" and then onwards she was pretty nice to Faith. Remember that she did defend Faith saying it wasn't her fault that she walked into a trap and that it could have just as easily happened if Buffy was leading. And the two were nice to eachother up in Buffy's bedroom in Empty Places.
From the future covers Buffy and Faith look like they've got themselves into a brawl, I don't know why this is but then I don't think Buffy would have ever asked Faith to go kill someone in the first place.
I love the Jo Chen cover, as always, but Jeanty's is just terrible. Great concept, but, as much as I have tried to be lenient about his art, this time it looks like the work of a kindergarten student.

I think Jo Chen is a wonderful artist! I love her artwork!! George Jeanty's cover is also great but not as good, its just a different kind of art. :)
That looks great! It looks quite comical..
I wounder if Faith will stay for the rest of the S8 or will flee like she plans to.
