Willow Rosenburge (Head of Watchers Council) discovers that young men around the world are going missing. She also discovers that a new power is coming to surface to help the greater good and stand along with the slayers.
Steven Grohtes a fresh out of college guy is moving to East Wick to start his life and he new job at the morgue. When he is greeted by a gang of bringers and vampires, that’s when his life will be changed forever.

Well with the BWF having alot of down time lately I decided to re-post the first three parts of my Buffy virtual series...

I first started to write this story all the way back in late 2004 early 2005 and all I have to show for it are three stories :( ... only joking just because they're not on the net doesn't mean there arn't more stories I have the entire series plotted out and multiple stories wrote out... just need the time to type them up is all so for now I share these three.

Anyway the story takes place a few weeks after the battle against the First, with the potentials now activated the gang's life in Sunnydale begins to return normal... well as normal (as it gets for them anyway) when a new slayer comes into their lives, coming from a future she has been sent to change. New enemies as well as old will begin to make their presence known and we will learn more about Hope and who's side she is truly on. A few changes were made to the out come of the battle against the First but I promise all will be revealed at the end so hang in there I promise not to dissapoint.

Hey, I've written a Charmed fanfiction entitled "The Sentencing of Three Blondes," and posted it on both the main site and this one. This is of course a reference to "The Power of Three Blondes" (episode 6-4), and it's just what it sounds like: a speculation about how the Stillman sisters (actually, just Mitzy and Margo, the two youngest) might have reacted to being in prison.

I'd imagine that this concept for a fanfiction is something that some people would find to be really cool, and others would regard as pointless. But then, the same could be said about the original episode. Check it out. And I am interested in feedback. :angelnot:

CHARLIE VOICEOVER: The last known slayer, was in the year 2010. The year is now 2060. We are unsure why the line died off. There has been no slayer since, hence the rise in evil. There has been no one to stop it. A select few, working undercover dust a vampire here and there, but society as we know it, will end.

CHARLIE VOICEOVER: Now, a slayer is called, and I have been chosen to be her watcher. She is, the slayer.

A spinoff set in the future of Jossverse. After Willow did the spell to activate all the slayers, it worked for a while. Until Buffy and Faith, along with the scoobs died, the line kinda died off because there was no one to teach them how to slay. (still working on that part.

So, many years later, a slayer is called, Kayla Parham. She has no idea about slayers or anything. She believes theres demons and witches out there somewhere, but thats it. So, the Powers that Be sent a Gaurdian Angel to Kayla to help her with her slaying duties, and that happens to be TARA!

Other characters both old and new will be in it, and Kayla must deal with being the one and only chosen one, in a world where there is twice as much evil as there was when Buffy was around.

To make matters worse Cain Teramelli continues to viciously interrogate the group regarding their involvement in the hotel explosion and also the horrific murders. Meanwhile, Sin makes a deadly new alliance, Lance questions Dante’s strange loyalty to him and a mysterious couple make themselves known to the gang, with disastrous results for Charlie.

I have created a monster – my longest fic in a long long time. It began life as an entry for tangent’s challenge, but then the setting changed from Christmas to shortly after Chosen – a few months – though certain elements remained. It’s definitely something that grew and changed in the telling – I’m sure I didn’t mean for it to be such a behemoth when I first sat down to write it. But I hope you enjoy. If you want to go in completely blind, don’t read this next bit…but it’s not massively plot spoilery if you want a bit of flavour.It’s largely focused on Giles and Buffy but seeds character developments and roles for the other Scoobies in season 8 too. What I was wondering was how Giles and Buffy’s relationship shifted after Chosen, after the “bloody brilliant” slayerisation spell… but after the other events of season 7, too. What took Giles and Buffy to the place they were at at the start of the season?

Following on from discussion in tangent’s Watcher’s Council thread, I decided it would be fun to write a history of the Council… but from the point of view of Giles as a schoolboy (with all the attendant misunderstandings, oversimplifications and leaps of kid logic), as a book report on one of his set texts. I’ve channelled a little Just William, and a little 1066 and all that (hence the title), plus a bit of Molesworth.

All old fashioned schoolboys at public schools (or the Watcher’s Academy, which is pretty much like a public school, I assume) sort of merge in my mind…. But I tried to get a little of Giles’s way of thinking in there, as I imagine it would’ve been when he was a child. He questions authority (a la Ripper) but is a little priggish (a la tweedy Giles) and self-important (which I’m sure is a key lesson at the Academy).

I think I’ll write a little commentary to go with it, to explain some of the thinking behind my version of Watcher history – or rather, Giles’s take on his history book… which doesn’t quite express what really went on, but I feel that the gaps in his explanation are telling, both about his interests (and his lack of clarity about the Tudor period of history, despite his interest in it), but also about the darker side of the history of the Council, that a child wouldn’t really grasp (and a text book might somewhat omit).

Another bang vibrates through the hallway. October slowly makes her way down the hall, towards Kat and Asher’s apartment. Suddenly, Kat and Asher’s apartment door opens and a large, orange demon with horns coming from its head. Shoots out of the apartment, down the hall, towards October.

OCTOBER: Holy shit!

October looks around, not knowing what to do. The demon barrels towards her at high speed. October leaps in the air, kicking off the hallway wall, boosting herself into the air into a back-flip. The demon runs beneath her towards Maureen, Rorri and Spencer. The demon pushes past Maureen and Spencer. October lands on her feet, as Asher and Kat spill out of their apartment. They look pissed. Out of nowhere, Kat generates a fireball from the palm of hand and whips it down the hallway. The fireball hurtles itself at October.

OCTOBER: No!

October leaps in the air, into a back-flip as the fireball whizzes under her. The fireball now hurls directly towards Maureen who looks frightened. She covers her face for protection.

MAUREEN: (yells) Per mihi!

The fireball goes through Maureen like she’s a ghost and it continues towards Spencer, who looks terrified.

SPENCER: (yells) Subsisto, clarus, resisto, confuto, claudeo!

The fireball then comes to a stop, right in front of Spencer’s face. Spencer stares at it as it rotates inches away from his face.

SPENCER: (out of breath) Distraho, dilabor, solvo.

The fireball dissipates in thin air.

SPENCER: (relieved) That was close.

Kat realizes what she’s just done.

KAT: (apologetic; yells down the hall) Guys, I’m so sorry!

Maureen falls to the ground, October runs to her aid.

RORRI: (furious; yells; O/S) What the hell is going on!

Spencer turns around to see Rorri with her hand out, holding the demon up against the wall with her telekinesis. Her eyes are pitch black and she looks pissed. October helps Maureen up to her feet. Everyone in the hallway looks at each other in disbelief.

Maureen is still doing inventory. Suddenly the company phone begins to ring.

RORRI: I’ll get it.

Rorri hurries over to the checkout counter; she reaches over the counter, answering the phone.

RORRI: Cromwell’s, this is Rorri speaking. How may I help you?

Beat.

RORRI: (disgusted) Margo…

Suddenly the power goes out and the phone is disconnected. The whole store is black; the only light coming through is from the moon, shining through the display window.

RORRI: (confused) What the –

Maureen walks from the bookshelves, over to Rorri.

MAUREEN: What the hell happened?

RORRI: I don’t know. Did you pay the bill?

MAUREEN: Yeah, yesterday.

Rorri hangs the receiver back on the base.

RORRI: Then what’s going on?

The entrance door flies open. Three figures in dark, red hooded cloaks run in.

RORRI: Oh my god!

They charge at the girls, full speed.

Hi everybody!

I just found this thread and since I recently started posting chapters here, I might as well use it. The name of the fic is Dark Becomes Light. It's a canonical Buffyverse crossover series mixing both Xena and Gargoyles with Buffy. It's actually a Xander-Centric fic and it actually forges a relationship between him and Gabrielle. It will lead to romance. The first fic is done as well as the second. I'll post the chapters daily. I hope you give it a chance and give it a read. I would appreciate feedback. Constructive criticism is welcomed.

Hi,
I just discovered these boards, and I'm looking forward to discovering the BtVS community. I'm sort of a newcomer to it, but I loved the show so much that I started writing my own fanfic...but the thing is, they're novels, so I definitely couldn't post them here, there just isn't room! I've completed the first two novels and the third is nearly finished. They're essentially a complete reimagining of the series starting with season three, when Faith joins the group. Though the stories don't focus exlclusively on one pairing, there is somewhat of a Buffy/Faith focus to start with. But this is a complete reimagining of the whole series, all the big bads, all the adventures, not just two characters, so everyone's involved. I made some pretty big changes--but I think the characters are all recognizable. The first three books are a trilogy dealing with the actual end of the world, the First Evil, the collapse of society, and the Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse. Anyway if anyone's interested in checking the books out they're all at my website:

3 MONTHS LATER. Now, the gang is separated. Ian has awoken from his coma, and Riley is staying with him. Sam and Graham are now alone in the big house, while John moves in with Salomie and her mother, and Intank is hiding out alone in his apartment, visited by hallucinations. All seems very quiet....but it's not. Nina, Patrick, and James are back in time, working for a company known simply as "I.S.". However, with Nina failing to return with Pyro and failing to kill John, she must prove herself worthy.

EXT. NEIGHBORHOOD - NIGHT
Kat’s eyebrows raise, so does Asher’s.

KAT: As in boyfriend?

DARWIN: (smirk) Yes, I’m gay.

KAT: Oh! Okay! No prob here, I’m gay friendly.

ASHER: So, am I. I’m very gay friendly.

Everyone looks at Asher.

KAT: (to Asher) Babe, please rephrase that sentence.

ASHER: OH, NO! Not like that! I mean I don’t care!

DARWIN: (smirk) Oh, okay.

Asher looks over at Kat who is holding back laughter.

ASHER: Not funny.

KAT: (holding back laughter) Yeah it is.

Asher’s eyes wonder off, looking around their surroundings.

ASHER: Guys.

Kat looks around and her face tenses up as she scans the area around them.

GENI: What is it?

Geni breaks away from Darwin and the both of them look around. Six vampires emerge from in-between the houses in the neighborhood.

ASHER: Get in the street. We have more room.

The group moves into the middle of the empty street. They form a circle, looking out at all the vampires approaching. Kat and Asher are in their fighting stances. The vampires make a circle around Asher, Kat, Geni and Darwin. The seven vampires stop, still standing in a circle around the group.

KAT: What are they doing?

The circle of the vampires divide and Carmichael steps in. He’s holding his face, which is still bleeding. He looks furious and crazed.

Also, Riley confronts the gang about the stolen chip, Sam looks for her father, and I.S. hires a rogue slayer assassin, Abby, to kill Riley's gang. Abby's first action: taunting Riley with a spell that makes hallucinations hauntingly real.

4.01 - DEAD, ALIVE, HELLO, GOODBYE

The battle has occurred and the war has ended, but how? Who died? Who survived? What did Dante tell Xak? Did Xak kill Sin, or did he let his daughter live? The answers to these questions lie six months after that day when the new found “ordinary lives” of the gang are suddenly disrupted when disaster strikes in the base of The Kalipso Syndicate HQ, a letter from The Watchers Council arrives and a set of nightly murders occurs in Manhattan. Meanwhile the call of Sirens forces some of the gang members to put the past behind them and bid farewell in order start a new life elsewhere all in time for a confusing end to the beginning episode of a new era in Shadow Stalker.


Season 4 Promotional Interview with Jared Hiers

Jared: Shadow Stalker keeps many of us coming back for more, time after time, and has a charm to it that keeps us readers on the edge of our seats. Your writing is an integral part of the series -- how do you manage to flesh out the characters and weave them throughout the plots so brilliantly?
Lex: That’s a really sweet thing to say. Writing has always come so naturally to me but it wasn’t until I started writing SS that I think I realised I was ok at writing after all and people actually enjoyed reading my work. I just write what comes to my mind. I tend to write the character’s personal lives on things that I’ve experienced. For example Cate’s grief and the discovery of Dance in Season 3. When I create a character I just don’t create a name and put an actor’s face to them, I think up about a hundred questions to do with that character’s life. For example in Season 4 we will meet a new character, Laree Catherwood and although I have yet to work out the minor kinks in her backstory, I know her.


Jared: As a big fan of Xak, I can't help but wonder -- how exactly did he come into being? We've heard the tale of the dragon in Season 5 of Buffy and you taking him and making him so much more, but what how do you make the character tick so well? What was so captivating about that dragon and how did he earn his own series?
Lex: Well when I was a mere baby of a teen, I created his name by pure random placing of letters and I began using it as my username in chat rooms on MSN, (back in the day when MSN had chat rooms, so this was a while ago!) I then began getting interested in role playing with this character in some of the Buffy related chat rooms and loads of people were asking me his back story and I began to think on how I could inter weave him into being. I just looked at that dragon repeatedly and thought there was something about it that’s important. The way it cut off Buffy and Dawn’s conversation and then disappeared. It was so powerful it stopped them in their tracks to just watch it fly, I knew there was something about it that intrigued me. So I put my intrigue and the name together and worked out his INTRICATE history. There’s still more to be shown about his back story and by 4.07 EVERYTHING about Xak will be explained.

Jared: Season 3 left us with so many questions about where the characters are left, whether or not they're going to still be with us at the beginning of Season 4 -- what keeps you saving one character and what tells you which one to let go? Can we expect to find our favourite characters left unscathed (omfg, spelling?) in the opener?
Lex: Well like I said about planning out the character’s lives, I always know whether they’re going to survive till the end or whether they’re a one hit wonder. I know who’s gonna be a hit and who everyone’s gonna hate because I’ve watched the reader’s reactions to characters in the past. There are people in it now who will make it to the end, but very few will. Can you expect to find your favourite characters unscathed? Depends who your favourite characters are I guess!

Jared: Xak, poised and ready to end Sin, was stopped by Dante -- what kind of news did he bring? What could that news mean for Sin? Are we going to be given the chance to see her humane, or will she not make it through the end?
Lex: How bold, right out asking if Sin is alive or not, haha. Well, all I can say is that Dante’s news does change everything and Sin is indeed either alive or dead, there’s no halfway point on that one where she’s like in an eternal coma or something. Sin’s fate is revealed in 4.01, that’s all I can say really without spoiling a big part of the episode.

Jared: With Charlie being one of the ones teetering on survival in the season 3 finale, what lies ahead for her in Season 4? Will she be alive and well? And if so, what is her reaction to the news that Dante delivered to Xak?
Lex: She will be alive, but she will not be well. Charlie’s health is going to be a big side plot for this Season which may seem random but it is in fact far from it and understanding it will be absolutely essential to stopping the new big bad. In terms of her reaction, Charlie will always support Xak. In 3.17 she assured him she trusted his judgement and she’s staying true to that.

Jared: The season 3 finale wasn't short any amount of epic, leaving so many character's fates left unsettled. Will any deaths be a major ploy in season 4? We already know that any character introduced plays a key role in the series -- even if they've already passed; so what twists could characters produce from beyond the grave?
Lex: I would say only this about the deaths, there are three important deaths in Season 3. But they’re not integral to Season Four, but they are essential to Sirens Season One. Expect hauntings, fake deaths and memorials.

Jared: Each episode of Shadow Stalker has held its own unique appeal; what can we expect in future episodes, from little points to big plots? What kind of evil will the gang face up next? They never seem to get a clean break, that'd be too easy!
Lex: Well now they have fought their own personal war with Sin, it’s time to return to the big fight against the Ancient Greek World. The Season Four big bad is under the alias of The United, which means it is a composite of two or more entities, banding together to take down Xak and his family. Sephy is going to be integral, so much so she is finally a main character. In terms of little plots the repercussion of Dante’s decision will cause many difficulties in his personal life. Expect to meet someone new from Xak’s home world and learn a lot about Cate’s childhood. No one actually knows ANYTHING about her childhood yet, so I’m looking forward to revealing the horrors with that, as well as Charlie’s health worries.

Jared: Will Leigh ever play another part in the future of Shadow Stalker? Surely she can't be out of the picture for good.. she's not one to stay too far out of the limelight.
Lex: Of course! Leigh Sinclair is one of my favouritest ever characters, she is so not done yet. She will be in Season Four and her first appearance will be in 4.04, but it will be a very different side of Leigh, one we haven’t really seen before.

Jared: Music in scenes can make or break it, and you've an ear for the good stuff. How do you pick out which songs to use? What makes a certain song suitable for one of your scenes? Do you base it off of the characters, or the scene itself?
Lex: I love music, it’s such a passion of mine so I love to use it in the more important scenes in each episode. What makes a good song to use for me? Well it has to sound right, the lyrics have to match the mood and situation in some capacity, so it’s more a composite of the characters and the scene. Season Four will boast some new artists such as Laura Marling, Sigur Ros, Kings of Leon, Santogold, Does It Offend You, Yeah?, and Noah and the Whale. This is only a few! I want to try new music genres, but I’m also going to revisit some of my old favourite artists, such as Natalie Merchant. You might also have noticed Season Three ended on an instrumental song by a composer called Olafur Arnalds. I will be using all of the songs off his album “Eulogy For Evolution”, but I will be only using the songs in the most important plot moments of the series. The series, aka 6x20 will play out to one of the songs on this album too.

Jared: The road for the gang so far has been seasoned.. they've managed to face one hardship after another, and stay a close-knit family. Hopefully nothing will try to come between them?
Lex: Well it will, so deal with it. Over five characters will leave to form part of the cast in Sirens and what’s left are going have to deal with some major life altering stuff as well as struggling to fight a war against some powerful Gods. Good luck to them.

RAIN and BELLA are standing near a SUV in the school parking lot.

VOICE: IT’S AS IF SHE NEVER LEFT HAVEN HIGH…

BELLA: Well, you ready to face the music?

RAIN: Everyday of my life.

RAIN links arms with BELLA. Together they walk towards the school grounds and surely but slowly one by one the students start to whisper and point at them.

CUT TO:

INT. HALLWAY- MORNING

RAIN and BELLA are opening their lockers. NEEVE and TRENT walks past them. She gives RAIN an evil grin in hopes to unnerve RAIN but it doesn’t work.

BELLA: Man, she’s already loading the first bullet.

RAIN doesn’t say anything and shrugs.

VOICE: WITH THE EXCEPTION OF THE NEW GIRL…

BELLA sees someone she knows. RAIN follows her eyes to a BLONDE who is talking to a group of students while taking her things out of her locker.

RAIN: (pulls out a book) Who is that?

BELLA: (looks over) Bailey Sorenson.

RAIN: (arches brow) Wait… don’t tell me her dad is…

BELLA: Yep… Wade Sorenson, the actor.

RAIN: Well… I’ll be. (Smirks) I bet Neeve is just kicking herself now that someone is more famous than her here at Haven High.

BELLA: Actually, they’re friends.

VOICE: WHO SEEMS TO HAVE TAKEN HER PLACE…

Just as BELLA is about to respond, BAILEY walks towards her while RAIN retrieves her books from her locker and puts them in her bag.

BELLA: Hey Bailey. How are you?

BAILEY: I’m good. (Turns to RAIN) You must be Rain. It’s so nice to meet you.

RAIN gives a surprised look at BELLA as she closes the locker.

BAILEY: I hope we can get to know each other better. You’re the talk of the town around here. (OS; Beat) Bella and I are going to dancing tonight, you game?

RAIN: (quickly masks her hurt feelings) I… I didn’t realize you made plans for the night.

BELLA: (oblivious to RAIN’S emotions; turns to BAILEY) Actually, I can’t. My dad grounded me.

BAILEY: (frowns) Bummer. (To RAIN) You’re still welcome to join me. As I said, I’d like to get to know you. (Flashes a smile) Any friend of Bella is a friend of mine.

RAIN: (whispers) Umm… thanks but I have a lot of homework to do.

BAILEY: Perhaps another time, when you’re homework-free? (RAIN involuntarily nods) All right then, it was very nice meeting you.

BAILEY departs leaving RAIN feeling uncertain about BELLA’S new friend.

BELLA: (OS) Rain, what’s wrong?

RAIN: I just... I thought we were going to do homework at my place tonight... sort of celebrate my first day back in prison but apparently you cancelled our plans and forgot to tell me.

BELLA: I’m sorry. In all honesty, I did forget about our plans.

We see BAILEY laughing with a group of football players.

BELLA: (OS) Rain I know you just met her but give her a chance, okay? (Beat) I assure you Bailey is nothing like Neeve and her crowd.

RAIN doesn’t give her an answer.

VOICE: AND HAS A WAY OF GETTING WHAT SHE WANTS… SUPERNATURALLY…

INT. HALLWAY- MORNING

Just before RAIN enters the admissions office she sees BAILEY talking to the DRAMA TEACHER. RAIN inch back a bit and doesn’t let them see her as they exchange conversation.

DRAMA TEACHER: (sighs) I am well aware who your father is but it still doesn’t change my answer. (Beat) It’s not fair to the other students who missed the deadline. If I let you audition, then I’d have to let them audition as well. Do you understand?

BAILEY: (touches the DRAMA TEACHER’S arm) I understand but if my father came in to talk to the drama class, would that change your mind?

RAIN arches her brow as she sees the DRAMA TEACHER’S demeanor start to change.

DRAMA TEACHER: (blinks blankly; confused) Well… I… I guess. (Beat; still feeling uncertain of what she just said) I… I look forward to working with you and meeting your father.

BAILEY: Thank you, Ms. Stafford.

While the DRAMA TEACHER rubs her head and turns around for drama class, BAILEY walks away with a smile unaware RAIN has been watching her.

RAIN: (OS): She’s uses mind control by ordering them to do whatever she wants.

VOICE: TO BECOME THE MOST POPULAR GIRL...

IN. CLUB- EVENING

RAIN pulls BELLA away from a guy she’s been dancing with. We hear dance music.

RAIN: What are you doing here? I thought you were grounded.

BELLA: I am. I snuck out.

RAIN: Why didn’t you call me? I would have met you.

BELLA: (leans too close to RAIN’s face) Well, you’re here now. (Flashes a smile) So no big.

RAIN: (winces at BELLA’s breath) Good god, Bella. Did you swim in a vat of vodka?

BELLA: (rolls her eyes) What are you, the alcohol police?

RAIN: (OS; Softly) I just think you should take it easy tonight. Why don’t we go to my place, sober you up real good and I’ll take you back home.

A VOICE grabs RAIN and BELLA’s attention.

BAILEY: (touches BELLA’s shoulder) You know what, Bella? I’d like to check out Club Haven after all, shall we go? I mean, the night is young.

BELLA: (slowly nods at BAILEY) Yeah… the night is young.

BELLA shoots a confusing look at RAIN.

RAIN: Bella?

BELLA: (uncertain) I want to go… with… Bailey.

At that moment, RAIN realizes BELLA is under BAILEY’S control. RAIN bites her lip angrily.

RAIN: (with hostility; glares at BAILEY) I should have known. You did something to her too, didn’t you?

BAILEY: (pretends to be bewildered) What are you talking about?

RAIN: (gets in BAILEY’s face) I know you did something, bitch. Now get out of my way.

VOICE: .... BUT ITS ABOUT TO TURN DEADLY.

RAIN’S hand starts to tingle again and this time, she lets a small blue flame burst in her hand. Slowly, she lets the flame move around through her fingers as if she was playing with a marble.

Within seconds, a bulky MAN approaches and RAIN quickly douses the flame.

MAN: Ladies, everything okay?

RAIN realizes the MAN is a bouncer.

BAILEY: (frowns; points at RAIN) Actually, no. My friend and I are trying to leave but she won’t let us.

BOUNCER: (turns to RAIN) Perhaps it would be best if you leave, mmm?

RAIN doesn’t respond.

BOUNCER: Let’s go, miss.

RAIN: (OS; shouts) I will stop you, Sorenson! I promise you that.

BELLA stares at BAILEY as she continues to smile as the BOUNCERS escort RAIN out of the club. Soon BAILEY’S smile fades.

BAILEY: (OS; whispers) Go ahead and try.

RAIN: (OS) Bailey is just doing this… to be popular; create her own set of friends.

MICHAEL: (OS) Regardless of BAILEY superficial reasons… she could still hurt someone. The more she uses her powers on Bella or anyone; they can still lose themselves and never find their way back.

VOICE: PATHETIC MUCH?
